What is Onomatopoeia?

तो दोस्तों सबसे पहले तो इसको pronounce कैसे करना है ये सीखते है. इसकी स्पेलिंग को अगर आप देखे तो आप definitely इसे पड़ेंगे “ओनोमाटोपोइया”. जोकि सही pronounciation नहीं है. इसका सही pronounciation “onomotopiya” hai. तो चलिए सीखते है की आखिर कार ये है क्या?

Actually Onometopoeic words represents sound. When you say an Onometopeic word, it sounds like the noise you are referring

असल में ये वो आवाजे होती है जो हम रोजाना सुना करते है.

जैसे बिल्ली की आवाज, कुत्ते की आवाज, गाड़ियों के हॉर्न की आवाज, रेलगाड़ी की आवाज, कांच के टूटने की आवाज.

जब आप शैतानी करते हैं तो आपके गाल पर जो थप्पड़ पड़ता है उसकी आवाज, जी हाँ ये सारी की सारी आवाज जो आप डेली सुनते हो वो सब onometopoeia ही होती है.

असल मे onometopoeia एक literary device है और ये different तरह की आवाजों को english की एक स्पेलिंग दे देता है. जैसे कुत्ते की आवाज को “bark” से represent करते है बिल्ली की आवाज को “MEOW” से represent करते है, horse की आवाज को “Neigh” से represent करते है, Duck की आवाज को “Quake” की आवाज से represent करते है, और भी बहुत सारी आवाजों को स्पेलिंग का रूप दिया गया है, और इन सभी sounds की स्पेलिंग वाले words को ही Onometopoeia कहते है.

Benefits of Using Onomatopoeia 

अब बात करे की onomatopoeia के क्या फायदे है तो इसके फायदे ये है की जब ये words किसी poem में किसी story में, किसी passage में use किये जाते है तो वो और भी मनोरंजक or enjoying हो जाती है. तो अगर सीधे सीधे कहा जाये तो onomatopoeia किसी भी, story, poem या किसी article को ज्यादा entertaining बनाने के लिए उसमें use किये जाते है.

चलिए आपको कुछ Examples की मदद से समझाते है:

1. Both bees and buzzers buzz, इसमें buzz word onomatopoeia है
2. Those clucking chickens are driving me crazy! इसमें clucking word onomatopoeia है
3. The root beer fizzed over the top of the mug. इसमें fizzed word onomatopoeia है
4. The flag flapped in wind. इसमें flapped word onomatopoeia है
5. The wolves howled at the moon. इसमें howled word onomatopoeia है
