About Us

No more to wonder about the people behind the success of Soni Jewellers in Aligarh. As you may know it was started in 1952 by Shri Niranjan Lal Agarwal Sarraf ji and continued by his son Shri Harishankar Agarwal Sarraf Ji and Later his grandson Shri Vijay Agarwal ji. Now, the two great sons(Manit Agarwal and Anubhav Agarwal) of Shri Vijay Agarwal Ji are carrying forward the great legacy of Soni Jewellers in Aligarh.

“Soni Jewellers” Story in Hindi:

उस समय तैयार आभूषणों की बिक्री का प्रचालन बहुत कम था. ज्यादातर लोग स्वर्णकारों को सोना देकर आभूषण तैयार कराते थे| आभूषणों के डिजाइन भी बहुत सीमित थे|

आज से लगभग 68 वर्ष पहले 1952 में श्री हरि शंकर जी ने प्रतिष्ठान पर बैठना प्रारंभ किया और अपने अथक प्रयासों व मेहनत से व्यापार को उन्नति की ओर लेकर गए|

श्री हरिशंकर अगरवाल सर्राफ जी अलीगढ़ सर्राफा कमेटी के महामंत्री अध्यक्ष पद पर थे|

सन 1978 में श्री हरि शंकर जी के पुत्र श्री विजय अग्रवाल ने अपने पिता के साथ व्यापार में सहयोग देना शुरू किया औरअपनी कर्मठता और व्यापार के प्रति लगनशीलता से व्यापार को ऊंचाइयों के शिखर पर पहुंचाया|

सन 1990 में अपने डायमंड कुंदन के जेवरात की बिक्री का शहर का एकमात्र व्यापार शुरू किया| अपनी प्रतिभा व स्नेहशील व्यवहार से ग्राहकों को संतुष्ट करने में कामयाब रहे|

व्यापार की ख्याति कार्य से संतुष्ट हो केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा फरवरी 2002 में धन कर अधिनियम (1957 की धारा 34 क ख) के तहत आभूषण मूल्यांकनकर्ता नियुक्त किया|

अक्टूबर 2004 में श्री विजय अग्रवाल जी ने फूल चौराहे पर ही नए शोरूम की शुरुआत की और सुचारु रुप से व्यापार को आगे बढ़ाया|

इसी श्रंखला को आगे बढ़ाते हुए उनके बड़े पुत्र श्री मनित अग्रवाल जी ने अपने शोरुम को संभालना शुरू किया अपने पिता के अनुभव से प्रेरणा लेते हुए लगातार प्रगति के मार्ग पर चलते गए|

कुछ ही वर्षों बाद उन्होंने समद रोड सेंटर पॉइंट पर एक नए शोरूम का शुभारंभ किया जिसको आज मनित अग्रवाल जी अपने छोटे भाई श्री अनुभव अग्रवाल जी के साथ सुचारू रूप से चला रहे हैं|

मनित अग्रवाल एवं अनुभव अग्रवाल अपने व्यापार को दिन प्रतिदिन प्रगति की ओर अग्रसर करने की दिशा में प्रयासरत है|

श्री विजय अग्रवाल जी इतनी तवज्जो अपने व्यापार वह ग्राहकों को देते हैं ठीक उतने ही सामाजिक जीवन में सक्रिय हैं वर्तमान में अलीगढ़ सर्राफा कमेटी के अध्यक्ष पद के साथ कई अन्य सामाजिक व शेक्षणिक संस्थाओं जैसे कि धर्म समाज सोसाइटी गांधी आई हॉस्पिटल सोसाइटी अलीगढ़ क्लब आदि संस्थाओं में विभिन्न वरिष्ठ पदों पर सुशोभित हैं तथा समय-समय पर अनेक सामाजिक कार्यों में समुचित योगदान करते रहते हैं|

आजकल जैसे कि अलीगढ़ महानगर में विभिन्न ब्रांडों ने धूम मचा रखी है मगर श्री विजय जी की अथक मेहनत अपने जीवन की उच्च गुणवत्ता के कारण आज भी सोनी ज्वेलर्स अपनी एक विशिष्ट पहचान बनाए हुए हैं|
