DPS Aligarh with separate Junior and Senior Wings – was set up in 1998 and the visionary Chairman of Pavna Group Shri Pawan Jain was the prominent force behind the endeavour. The mission was not confined to just providing a world-class education to students but was primarily aimed at transforming the budding students into the responsible citizen of the society.
Overview
DPS Aligarh aims at grooming the students into self-disciplined and cultured individuals with the highest moral values. Thus, the management focuses on the world beyond teaching and learning too. The stress is on the all-round development of the child. Students are trained in a way that ensures intellectual, mental and physical development. Both the educational institutions have a lush green campus with ultra-modern amenities. A lot of emphases is given to co-curricular activities. Sports, study trips, excursions and Olympiads are promoted to enable all-round development of students.

In pursuance of the mission, it has been ensured that teaching, curriculum and facilities meet the global standards. In reality, the institution is a mission in itself. DPS Aligarh aims at providing an excellent blend of education and co-curriculum activities so that the students are trained to lead the society in a positive manner.
DPS Junior Wing
DPS Aligarh (Junior Wing), with approximately 1600 students on its rolls, is one of the best residential schools in the state and adjoining regions. Here the students are moulded in a manner that they mature as a responsible citizen of the country. The school itself never forgets its social responsibilities. Thus, under Asha Ki Kiran (the ray of hope), it serves the children with special needs. Asha Ki Kiran remains vital to the ethos of the founders.
Academic
Mrs Rashmi Grover is the principal of both the wings. She leads the team of most qualified, learned, trained and efficient teachers.

Quality speaks in itself as Delhi Public School Aligarh (Junior and Senior Wing) is one of the very few schools certified with two major standards QMS [9001:2008] (Quality Management System) and EMS [14001:2004] (Environmental Management System).
DPS Aligarh is Rank 1 in Aligarh, 4th in State Ranking and 21st nationally.
