Four-lane Palwal Highway to boost Aligarh Infrastructure

Aligarh Palwal Highway, which is adopting itself into four lanes, is taking a new shape of Aligarh city development.

On the road, a state-level university is going to take shape just 10 Kms away from Sarsol crossroads, Transport Nagar at just 11 Km and Defence Industrial Corridor at just 13 Km along with Jewar International Airport at just 47 km away, Electronic City at just 48 Kms, Toy city in Noida sector 32-33 at 125 Kms away from the city and the most talked Film City in Noida sector 21 & 22 at 128 Kms away from Aligarh.

All these highly ambitious projects will generate approximately 1 lakh & 50 thousand jobs, in which the people of Aligarh city will surely participate due to the close proximity. As per the ADA proposed Master Plan 2031, preparations are going on to establish a new city on both sides of this 4-lane highway. ADA VC Prem Ranjan Singh said that work is going on in-line with all the projects so that a new city can be established to give a brighter and secure future to the neighbouring people of Aligarh.

Not only this, but Nagar Nigam has also planned to start an electric bus service to keep all these projects of Noida within the reach of Aligarh’s public.

Permission has been sought from the government to clean Aligarh drain and Jaffery drain near Nada Pul to achieve better cleanliness. District administration, ADA, Nagar Nigam and District Panchayat are also very hopeful with the ambitious projects as there will be a new Aligarh to be established on this road.

DS Bhadauria, Executive Engineer, ADA said that Aligarh city is setting up a transport city on the Palwal highway, other departments are doing other relevant developmental work.

Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Raj Bahadur said that the limit of Nagar Nigam ends before the Khereshwar intersection, so the other respective departments are taking care of the rest of the development work beyond that limit.

Nagar Nigam has got permission to clean the Mathura bypass drain, besides this, the electric bus service will be starting on the Aligarh Palwal Highway to the Tappal Interchange of the Yamuna Expressway soon.
